Hosted by the AACPM, Take the Next Step is an exciting look inside the world of podiatric medicine. Students will be introduced to careers in podiatric medicine by one of our DPM Network Speakers, meet current students and residents, and participate in a hands-on sports medicine taping demonstration. Additionally, there will be representatives from the colleges of podiatric medicine on hand to answer questions about admissions, clinical shadowing opportunities, scholarships and much more! This complimentary session will feature: • Introduction to careers in podiatric medicine with a local Podiatric Physician, • Interactive activities led by a podiatric physician and current podiatric medical students, and • Get hands-on experience in Sports Medicine Taping.
